8th - PTP [+/-]

PTP honestly started looking better this past week. It may have been a difference in opponents, but this current PTP and Week 1’s PTP are like night-and-day. I know their captain was subbed out last-minute, so I’m hoping him the best of course. That all being said, despite PTP looking better, I think I’ll keep them in 8th until we see results.

7th - SPE [+/-]

SPE won both of their games last week, scoring themselves their first win, as well as a lot of momentum going into the second half. Despite this though, I would still place them 7th for now as the opponents they faced were within their own league, and the wins weren’t as convincing as I’d hoped. Orphic has been looking like a beast in the top lane. Their true test will be this coming Tuesday when they play against NieR (formerly Shi Hou) and the rest of BBZ.

6th - TAS [-1]

So far history has repeated itself. Last Season, TAS was known for going 0-2 one week, then 2-0 the next. It looks like the pattern continues as TAS goes 0-2 in Week 3, despite winning both their games in Week 2. I’d like to compliment Anh Bo’s champion pool for a bit, as we’re used to seeing him on engage-heavy supports. However now we’ve seen him on Swain and Seraphine. I’m excited to see how TAS progresses from here.

5th - SWO [+1]

SWO has made a few roster changes! xxxCam and Joviechu join the starting lineup for SWO. Time will tell if these changes are worth it. I personally enjoyed watching AquaPear and Elk Milk, but I imagine the coaches know what they’re doing. These new players are fresh to the Friend or Foe stage, but they’ve gotten their time in the spotlight after their win against PTP, and they’ve felt the sting of losing after their match against FEC. Now we can see how they play for the long-run.

4th - FEC [+/-]

FEC won one game against SWO and lost one against YUBI this past week. Truthfully, both of these results were expected, as I believe FEC is better than SWO and YUBI is the best team in the league. That’s why I’m personally keeping FEC in 4th place. That being said, we got to see more Paytim3 this week and got to hear his beautiful voice in the interview. He performed admirably this week and as he joins the starting lineup, I’m excited to see how FEC performs during the second half.

3rd - INT [-2]

To everyone’s surprise, INT receives their first ever 0-2 week in the Friend or Foe Series. Like it was mentioned in the Lounge, it has been nearly 8 months since INT lost a game in Friend or Foe. The burden of being champions also begins to hit at this stage. Having a title like that naturally puts a target on your back. That being said, the best teams are the ones that can pick themselves back up after a disheartening week. Let’s see how BoExplode leads his team after defeat.

2nd - BBZ [+1]

Another 2-0 week for Blue Bayou Zoo. It looks like their loss against YUBI hasn’t affected them too much. In fact, I’m impressed with how quickly they came back swinging. Especially in their Tuesday match against our reigning champions, INT. The game was expected to be close, but BBZ shut them out before I could even see it. We’re still seeing hesitation in the mid-late game, but as teams start to challenge BBZ more, we’ll be able to see how much they can do under pressure when the game is “close”.

1st - YUBI [+1]

Similar to The Ugly Barnacles in the Mythic League, YUBI is on pace to achieve a perfect first half. Team SWO could potentially play spoil here, but like I’ve mentioned in the past, early losses are always better than losses at the end of the season. JeffGodGamer has looked phenomenal as his team backs him up nearly every fight. I don’t want to take credit away from anyone, but Jeff has really looked bright in our season this year. One can only wonder how well YUBI would do in Mythic.
