FoF Season 7 Heroic - Here’s what you need to know

For those who are joining us late, FoF producer Chris Sunga announced earlier in the year that this will be the final year of Friend or Foe tournaments. We’d like to thank every single person out there who has supported us and is allowing us to have a proper ending. We’ll see you soon.

General Tournament Info

Tournament Format

FFS7 includes three total phases: The first involves a Qualifier Round should it be necessary to narrow down the list of applicants to 10 total teams for one League. Like usual, since we don’t know the precise number of teams needed for this season’s Qualifier, the exact format for the Qualifiers will be announced as we arrive closer to the date.

Once the teams have officially been narrowed down, ten teams will play two Best-of-One games a week in an 8-week Double Round Robin stage during the Regular Season. Win/Loss records from this stage determine the seeding for the final Playoff Stage.

• Note: Please prepare for Super Week!! Where teams will play Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for that week (July 17-21)

Once the Regular Season stage has been completed, the top six teams of the designated league will be seeded into a Single-Elimination Bracket Playoff Stage. Contrasting the Regular Season stage, the Playoff stage consists of Best-of-Five matches. The winner of this Single-Elimination bracket will be crowned as the final Friend or Foe Champions.

Prizing

For both the Heroic and eventual Mythic League, the winning teams receive the following rewards for their participation and dedication to our league:

• Championship Title

• Championship Art Piece

• $500 donated to a Charity of your choice

• Championship Merch Design

Heroic League Information

League Eligibility

The Heroic League will feature a Platinum 1 rank limit where all participants must be Ranked no higher than Platinum 1 in both the current and previous League of Legends Ranked Season. More elaboration can be found in our Rule List.

Event Dates

Time Slots - All matches will take place in a time slot between 5:00 PM PST and 8:00 PM PST.

• Note: To allow a 10-team League, we may be staggering certain matches and broadcasting them later in the evening.

Qualifiers - will take place on May 29th to June 6th.

Regular Season - will begin on June 19th, 2023.

Match Days - The Season 7 Heroic League will be played on Mondays & Tuesdays

Sign-ups - Now open. Will close on May 15th, 2023.
